Built around real questions

Start with the problem, not the protocol.

SignalVerge brings Wi-Fi analysis, Bluetooth discovery and network diagnostics together in one app, organized around the questions people actually ask.

Designed for clarity on a small screen.

Private by design

Your scans stay yours.

Wireless observations can reveal a lot about places and people. SignalVerge keeps them on your device and leaves sharing up to you.

Read the privacy policy

Stored on your phone
Scan history, labels, notes and floor plans stay in app-private storage. Android cloud backup is turned off for these records.
No account, no server
There’s no SignalVerge account to create and no developer-operated server collecting your data.
No ads or analytics
No third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software is built in.
You control exports
Exports and sharing are your choice. Online diagnostics you start also send requests to the destinations described in our privacy policy. Optional backups are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and a password you choose.
Tests run on request
Network diagnostics run only when you start them, and the privacy policy lists where each one sends requests.
No background scanning
Scans run in the foreground when you start them. SignalVerge doesn’t record GPS coordinates.

Honest about limits

What a phone can and can’t tell you.

  • Strength isn’t distance

Signal strength changes with walls, reflections and interference. It doesn’t give an exact distance or direction, and radar-style views are illustrative.

  • A signal isn’t an identity

Names and identifiers can’t prove who owns a device, or confirm a hidden camera, tracker or law-enforcement equipment.

  • Android sets the rules

Results depend on your phone, Android version and permissions. Wi-Fi scan results require Location permission, though SignalVerge doesn’t record GPS coordinates.

Only test networks and equipment you own or are authorized to examine. More in the FAQ.
